Belgian young rider Hannelore Volders finished fourth in the 2003 Pikeur Trophy Finals, held at the CDI Rotterdam, Saturday August 30, 2003. Volders, who was in third position after the semi-finals, had to give in one place because the winner of the class, Marlies van Baalen with Laurentianer, moved into first position from her semi-finals fifth place. Van Baalen scored a winning 72.09% for her Intermediaire I kur, while Volders ranked fourth on Jakko with a nice 69.14%. Volders was the only Belgian Pikeur Trophy finallist. Arnaud Reper just missed out on the finals as he finished sixth in the semi-finals.

Hannelore Volders Qualifies for Pikeur Trophy Finals at CDIO Rotterdam

Six Belgian Prix St Georges riders were selected to compete in the semi-finals of the 2003 Pikeur Trophy. Held at the CHIO Rotterdam, the Pikeur Trophy Semi Finals was packed with a field of 17 competitors from the Netherlands and Belgium. Only the top five was qualify for the ultimate Pikeur Trophy Finals. The semi finals were won by Imke Schellekens-Bartels on Gestion Lancet. Belgian Hannelore Volders finished third with a 66.95% score. Arnaud Reper just missed the finals as he ended sixth on his Fortissimo with 66.45%
