VLP Dressage Committee Reconstituted

The improve the functioning and efficiency of the VLP Dressage Committee, it has been decided to reconstitute the committee by adding additional members based on their expertise (in sports, business and experience-wise).

The current VLP Dressage Committee (consisting of elected members Dirk Hooghe, Paul Debie, Jean-Louis Valkenborgh, Hans Vanbiervliet, Laurence van Doorslaer, and Corry Verbocht) has been enlarged with new members Carmen de Bondt, Wim Verwimp, Dominique Rimanque, Carlo Vanhove, Annick de Spiegeleer, and Patrick de Deken.

It has also been decided that the official VLP Dressage Committee will consists of 2 elected members and 2 additional members. At the moment these persons are Corry Verbocht, Paul Debie, Carmen De Bondt and Patrick de Deken.

Chairman of the new VLP Dressage Committee is Patrick de Deken.

The Committee wants to start afresh with a new policy:

Improve communication with its members.
The improvement of communication will happen via an electronic newsletter, the appointment of a complaints' person and the organisation of info evenings where VLP members can present new ideas and comments to improve Dressage in Belgium.

Improve the transparancy of the VLP Dressage Committee
The improvement of the transparency should be accomplished by releasing more news via print publication and the internet on decisions taken by the committee.

Dressage in Belgium is improving and the new VLP Dressage Committee hopes to be a helping hand in that improvement by being a strong voice in the traditional structure of the Belgian Equestrian Federation (VLP, LEWB, National Dressage Committee, FEI).
