The Belgian Equestrian Federation announced the dates and locations of the CDI Selection Trials for Belgian FEI Pony, Junior, Young Riders and Senior riders. Those who wish to compete internationally will need to go to these selection trials to get the opportunity to ride their qualification scores at the beginning of the show season.

The three trials are scheduled to be:

• 29th January 2006 - Flemalle (entries close 16/01)
• 5th February 2006 - Koningshooikt (entries close 23/1)
• 19th February 2006 - Waregem (entries close 6/02)

The trials will be judged by two judges selected from this list: Jacques van Daele, Mariette Withages, Anne-Marie Swenden, Freddy Leyman.
