Although it was previously announced that the 2002 European Pony Championships were to be held in Lanaken, Belgium, the organization of the CH-EU has made a few changed in its programme.

As the accommodation at "Domein Pietersheim" is inadequate for eventing and dressage, the origanizing committee has contacted Ulrich Kasselmann in Hagen, Germany. After several negotiations with the FEI and the Belgian and German Equestrian Federation the following decision has been made

The European Pony Championships Eventing will be held in Lanaken, Belgium, July 24-28, 2002.

The European Pony Championships Dressage and Showjumping will be organized at Ullrich Kasselmann's facility in Hagen, Germany, July 31 to August 4, 2002. At the same time, by the way, the European Championships for Junior Riders run in Hagen.
