Belgian dressage oriented brood farm 't Heirhof announced the birth of two De Niro (s. Donnerhall) foals out of the famous mare Rosantica. The foals were delivered by foster mares but the pregnancy came about through embryotransplantation. Rosantica was also inseminated with semen from the Hanoverian stallion Welcome (s. Western Star) but there was no pregnancy. Rosantica's full sister gave birth to a Welt Hit II (s. Weltmeyer) foal. Rosantica will be bred again in the 2002 season.

Rosantica (Camus x Saint Philippe xx) is bred and owned by Roger Janssens from brood farm De Verbrande Brug in Eppegem, Belgium. The chestnut mare rose to stardom in Belgium by winning the Belgian Dressage Championships for 5 and 6 year olds under Geert van der Borght. The Belgian warmblood mare was also decorated by the BWP association as Champion of Mares at the National BWP Mare Championships two years ago.
