| Premium stallion, successful in sport and breeding
Thirteen
year old Volltreffer 5 can already be proud of his highly successful sport
and breeding career, and he has still so much to offer. He became a premium
colt as weanling in his year of birth: 1986. His flourishing debut was
made at age three when he got approved by the Westphalian studbook in Munster
in
1988. A modest breeding career followed in the five succeeding years, producing
12 fillies and 7 colts. These descendants became great award winners. One
of his sons, Valerios, received the Westphalian breeding license while
2 of his daughters became State Premium Mare, the highest title to be achieved
by a horse from its breed association and state. Volltreffer 5 carries
the best Deutsches Reitpony and Welsh bloodlines you can imagine. As he
produced a licensed son Volltreffer was celebrated as Premium Stallion.
His sire Vulkan received that same title, while his dam Nizza became a
State Premium Mare. Vulkan's dam Nadja was awarded with the Verband Elite
Mare title and the same goes for Nizza's dam Oschina. Her sire became also
a Premium Stallion.
Victoria is one of the 12 fillies Volltreffer 5 sired and which turned
out to be an top quality pony brood mare. Her daughter Daydream of Victoria
(Dressman I x Volltreffer 5) won the Elite Mare breeding show this year
receiving the Verband Premium Mare title. Daydream's full brother Dream
of Victoria (Dressman I x Volltreffer) became a licensed breeding stallion
and Reserve Champion of his licensing year of the Westphalian Association
and was auctioned later in 1998. (Picture on right is Dream

In
1993 Volltreffer switched his breeding career for sport. 13 year old Jana
Kun became the steady rider and owner of Volltreffer 5. The combination
clicked and after several successes at national tournaments in Germany,
Jana and Volltreffer were selected to represent Germany at the European
Pony Championships in Hasselt, Belgium. The trip to Belgium paid off because
Jana produced a 66.53% in the Team Championship test placing 8th as third
best German combination. The team gold went to Germany and Volltreffer
earned his first European Gold. In the preliminary test Volltreffer sampled
a 66.37% which ranked him 8th while Italian judge at E, Nuva thought more
of the combination and placed the pair first. In the finals Volltreffer
scored 66.06% which placed them on a 6th individual position. In 1995 Jana
became European Pony Champion with Little Dream, and in 1996 she won the
individual gold with Golden Dancer. Volltreffer 5 remained at her barn
in Aachen until 1998. It was at the Kun residence that the Belgian Van
Campen family found Volltreffer 5. Daughter Ruth van Campen already competed
at two European Pony Championships with her pony Crack Drum, but they saw
potential in Volltreffer and a purchase soon followed. Ruth stayed in Germany
to train with the Kun family and entered her new pony in several German
competitions. On 23rd April 1999 she entered a national pony competition
in Essen where she placed 8th in the preliminary test with 63.70%. In the
finals she and Volltreffer were placed tenth following Germany's top pony
riders who won the European team gold medal at the Championships later
that year. This competition succeeded the international youth happening
in Beek, The Netherlands, in 1998. With the Belgian Pony Team Ruth and
Volltreffer dominated the consolation finals and with a 64.57% score the
combination took the lead.
Scoring
a solid 65.80% in a pony qualifying show at De Pronkenberg, Ruth and Volltreffer
were easily selected for the 1999 Belgian Pony Dressage Team. At the European
Championships in Stromsholm, Sweden, the pair placed 27th in the Preliminary
test with 62.96% but received a 66.66% score of the judge at C, Mr Thornblad
from Sweden. In the Team Championship competition they ranked 26th with
a score of 61.93%, but the judge at M, Mrs. Fredara from Spain gave them
66.33%. In the consolation finals Volltreffer pushed his score up to a
64.11% placing fourth, but in the eyes of Mrs Sumalainen from Finland Volltreffer
was the one to win as he pointed him the number one spot with 67%. On your
left you see a fraction of Volltreffer's consolation test at the European
Championships.

| Established FEI Dressage and licensed Pony Stallion
Volltreffer
5 is your hit to combine a breeding career with top level dressage competition.
His modest collection of descendants have proven to be of superb quality:
one licensed stallion sired by Volltreffer himself and more breeding successes
with him as sire in the dam line. As Volltreffer was mainly focused on
his dressage training instead of breeding, he had the time to evolve himself
as a top notch dressage pony. Already achieved one team gold medal for
Germany and experienced two European Championships under a German and Belgian
pony rider, Volltreffer guarantees success either in sport or breeding.
His perfect conformation, three elastic basic gaits, third level training
and show experience and his brilliant character make him the perfect match
for future breeders or dressage riders.
