Nero Classic, Classic Hit for Success
A
new highlight has been added to the elite Eurodressage FEI Dressage
Pony Collection. With ponies on our "sold" list like stallion
Top Yellow, Noble Casper, Condor, Alympia and many more, Eurodressage
has proven to be the best source for top quality FEI Dressage ponies.
Newest addition to the collection is Belgium's current number one FEI
dressage pony Nero Classic. This 10-year dark bay Rhinelander gelding
is a pony to die for. His beauty and expression in the show ring is
incredible and makes him an absolute ticket for success. Nero Classic
has a perfect conformation, with an elegant noble head and strong hindquarters.
His walk is large and balanced, his trot is strong and excels in the
extensions and his canter is ground covering and well jumped.
Owned by Joke de Belder since 1999, Nero Classic has
been competing at FEI level for two years. Trained by FN Instructor
Gudrun Schlack, Nero Classic and Joke de Belder have dominated the Belgian
Pony Scene the last two years and became the number one of the country
in 2002. In 2002, Nero Classic scored an average of 65% (placing first),
sometimes hitting 67%. The combination was member of the Belgian Pony
Dressage Team twice and competed at several CDI's and twice at the European
Pony Championships.
At the 2001 European Pony Championships in Vejer de
la Frontera, Spain, De Belder was first confronted with the European
top and as an inexperienced combination with her young Nero Classic,
performed well by scoring a solid 63%.
During
the 2002 show season, the pair's scores rose much and Joke reigned supreme.
At the CDI-P Fountaineblue, France, the combination won the competition
with 71.5% in the kur to music, which was performed on Abba beats. At
the CDIO-P in Aarhus, Denmark, Joke and Nero Classic were the only Belgian
pair to ride the individual finals. They placed sixth amongst the European
top with a strong 65.16% score. Nero Classic continued to improve during
the 2002 show season and reach his apex at the 2002 European Championships
in Hagen, Germany. De Belder and Nero Classic were once again the only
Belgian combination in the individual finals, in which they finished
tenth and 11th overall at the Championships.
Being only 10-years old, Nero Classic still has plenty
of time to improve in his training and become stronger in the show ring.
With a little more maturing, Nero Classic is destined to place in the
European and international top five. Nero Classic is a wonderful gelding
who loves attention and care and with professional training and guidance
he can not but fulfil his role as FEI pony star.
