Condor II, a licensed pony stallion and absolute number one FEI Dressage pony, is the pony you have only dared to dream of. Condor II is a dark bay German bred pony stallion, registered with the Weser Ems Society (which runs in alliance with the Oldenburg Verband) and was licensed as a 2, 5-year old in Germany. After a few years as a successful breeding stallion, Condor made his debut in the competition arena by becoming the Oldenburg Pony Dressage Champion as a 6-year old. He continued his career in sport and evolved into a show jumper at international level.

But Condor's versatility bloomed even more when he moved to Belgium two years ago to become one of the top FEI Dressage ponies in Europe. Under the Dutch/Spanish rider Andrea Villaverde, Condor became Holland's favourite dressage pony. Two Dutch FEI pony selection trials were won by the combination Villaverde/Condor, including the trials' finals at the 2001 CDI Arnhem, The Netherlands. They became so successful that they won the "Rabobank Talentenplan" scholarship and were able to train with Anky van Grunsven for free for one year. This training only added to their high standard level of dressage which the two of them produced in the arena. Condor excelled at various international pony competitions throughout Europe. He competed at the CDI Nussloch, Germany, and at the CDI Le Touquet (FRA) where the stallion finished 8th in the individual finals with 65,968%. Condor easily qualified for the Dutch Pony Team to represent the Netherlands at the 2001 European Dressage Pony Championships in Vejer de la Frontera, Spain. Villaverde and Condor became 9th overall and scored the brilliant mark of 68.22% in the preliminary test (best non-German combination).

Condor's mythical career does not only include important achievements in the competition ring, he also produced numerous offspring as a breeding stallion. One of his get, Chukk, is being auctioned this year at the Vechta Elite Oldenburg Auction in Germany. So, Condor is not only the Adonis of the pony world, but he also excels in dressage and show jumping competitions.
