A hot summer day, even though we still are in May. Horses sweating, riders burning their skins, and the spectators refreshing themselves with some cold drinks. Those were the normal sightings of the day. Again, year after year Kris Geerts of dressage stable De Steppe organizes the perfect show. Excellent catering, four show rings and four warming up- rings,  flowers for the first placed, what can you expect more? And of course a large group of quality riders which showed a high level of dressage.  Not only did the pony group provide some quality tests, but also routine Philippe Jorissen won the Prix St. Georges as well as the Intermediaire I with Dwinger Pia (twice 65%). Wim Verwimp called his both horses of and he only was to be seen drinking some beer with chef d'Equipe Jan Meersmans. Second Placed in the PSG was Evelyn Van Beuningen with Cozumel, an imposing bay gelding. Marleen Loomans became third with her Trakehner Escudo. Catherine Bacqueville followed on the fourth place with her elegant white Intact.
